Auliq Documentation

Everything you need to build, run, and scale with Auliq

Guides, references, and tutorials for developers, administrators, IT teams, implementation partners, and end users.

Overview

What this documentation covers and how it is organized

Auliq is an AI-native construction management platform that centralizes project management, automates workflows, and improves project outcomes. It is delivered as a set of independent applications (modules) that share one account, one organization, and one navigation shell, so you can adopt only the modules you need and grow from there.

This documentation is the authoritative source of truth for product functionality and technical implementation. It is organized for four audiences:

End users & project teams

Start with User Guides — task-level walkthroughs for every module, from RFIs to safety plans.

Administrators

Start with Administration & Configuration — organizations, roles, project scope, notifications, and preferences.

Developers & IT

Start with the API Reference and SDK Guides — authentication, data access, backend functions, and automation.

Implementation partners

Combine Deployment, Integrations, and SDK Guides to stand up and migrate client environments.

Getting Started

Create an account, understand roles, and launch the platform

  1. 1

    Create your account

    Go to /register, enter your email and a password, then verify the one-time code we email you. You can also sign up with Google, Microsoft, Facebook, or Apple.

  2. 2

    Launch the platform

    From the landing page, click Launch platform (or go directly to /platform). This opens the Platform Dashboard, the central entry point for all modules.

  3. 3

    Pick your project context

    Use the project selector in the header. Every module page and dashboard filters its data to the project you select, so you always see the right scope.

  4. 4

    Install the apps you need

    Open the Applications store at /apps and install modules such as Project Management (PMS), Document Management (DMS), or Financial Management (CFMS). Installed apps appear under Library.

  5. 5

    Personalize your experience

    Under Platform → Preferences, set date and time formats, currency, measurement system, default views, and density. Preferences apply across all modules.

Tip

If a module is not yet installed, its dashboard card on the Platform Dashboard shows a Deploy button instead of Open. Installing takes one click and requires no configuration.

User Guides

Task-level walkthroughs for every application

Each application ships with a dashboard plus focused registers. All registers follow the same pattern, so once you learn one, you know them all: filter by project context, create records with the New button, edit from the card menu, and track status with badges.

Project Management (PMS)

Create projects, break work into work packages and milestones, assign tasks, and monitor team workload and reports.

Document Management (DMS)

Upload and version documents, route approvals, share externally, track transmittals, and manage RFIs and submittals in one register.

Drawing & Plan Management

Drawings (DRMS) and plans (PLMS) share revision control, markups, distribution lists, sheet tracking, and side-by-side comparison.

Field Management (FMS) & Field Ops (COMS)

Daily logs, inspections, photo records, time tracking, site workforce, equipment, and field-level workflows for supervisors.

Cost & Financial Management

Budgets (BMS), cost control (CCTS/PCS), job costing, invoices, payments, cash flow, and financial reporting (CFMS) plus the C-ERP suite for accounting, payroll, and inventory.

Procurement & Contracts

Plan procurement, issue RFQs, compare bids, issue purchase orders, manage vendors, and administer contracts, clauses, renewals, and change orders (PRMS/CTMS).

Quality, Safety & Risk

Quality plans, inspections, NCRs, and audits (QMS); safety plans, permits, incidents, and training (HSMS); and a full risk register with mitigation tracking (RIMS).

Scheduling, Design & Delivery

Baseline schedules and critical path (SPS), design engineering deliverables (DEMS), estimating (ES), commissioning (CXMS), and portfolio-level reporting (PRAS/EPMS).

Where to look

Records reference each other across modules — an RFI can reference a drawing, a submittal can reference a purchase order, and a change order can reference a contract — so start from the module that owns the record and follow the reference fields.

Administration & Configuration

Organizations, members, roles, notifications, and preferences

Organizations & members

All records belong to your organization (tenant). Under Platform → Organizations you can create or edit your organization, invite members by email, and assign the role of admin or user. Admins can manage members and all organizational data; users work with the data they are granted. Membership can also be granted to workspace groups, with a role assigned per group.

Project scope

The project selector in the header drives every module. Selecting a project filters registers, dashboards, and counts to that project; selecting no project shows organization-wide data. Use this to keep multi-project environments isolated per project team.

IAM & identity

Authentication is handled by the platform: email/password with verification codes, social providers (Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Apple), and Workspace SSO. Sessions are token-based; users authenticated only via social providers cannot use the in-app lock screen. Delegation lets an approver temporarily delegate a scope (approvals, RFIs, submittals, change orders, documents, or all) to another member for a defined period.

Notifications & workflows

Notification categories and per-category preferences are configurable under Platform → Notifications. Approval notifications fire automatically when records such as submittals, RFIs, or change orders change state, and each notification deep-links to the record that raised it.

Installation & Deployment

Publishing, mobile apps, domains, and upgrades

  1. 1

    Publish the platform

    Publishing deploys the web application to its public URL. Re-publish after configuration changes that affect the public site, such as SEO metadata or the favicon.

  2. 2

    Mobile apps

    The same codebase ships as native iOS and Android apps. Field modules (daily logs, inspections, photos) are designed mobile-first and work in the native shell.

  3. 3

    Custom domains

    Connect a custom domain from the Domains settings. Domain-linked apps can also send email to addresses outside the registered user list, subject to delivery safeguards.

  4. 4

    Upgrades

    Module updates ship automatically; there is nothing to install per client. Data model changes are backward compatible. See Release Notes for anything requiring action.

Data migration

Registers support CSV-based import per module. Map your source columns to the register fields, import, then verify counts and status values. Reference fields (for example a change order's contract reference) are matched by text value, so import the parent records first.

API Reference

REST access to your Auliq data

Every published Auliq app exposes a REST API over its own data model. Generate API keys from the app's API settings page, then call any module's endpoints with the key in the Authorization header. The API mirrors the module entities: list, get, create, update, delete, count, and aggregate operations are available per entity.

curl https://your-app-url/api/entities/PmsTask \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer <your-api-key>"

Full endpoint documentation, including query operators ($eq, $in, $gte, $regex and friends), pagination via cursors, and aggregation payloads, is published on the API page for each app. Keys are scoped to the app that issued them and can be rotated at any time.

SDK Guides

JavaScript SDK for entities, auth, and backend logic

The JavaScript SDK is the fastest way to build on Auliq data from custom front ends, scripts, or backend functions. Entities are accessed as typed collections on the pre-initialized client.

import { base44 } from '@/api/base44Client';

// One page of open tasks for a project, newest first
const page = await base44.entities.PmsTask.filter(
  { project_name: 'Riverside Tower', status: 'in_progress' },
  { sort: '-due_date', limit: 50 }
);

// Totals without loading records
const open = await base44.entities.PmsTask.count({ status: 'todo' });

Authentication. Use base44.auth.me() to load the current user, base44.auth.updateMe() to persist profile data, and base44.auth.isAuthenticated() to gate routes. Login flows use hard redirects so the auth provider re-initializes.

Backend functions. Server-side logic lives in functions that can call external APIs with stored secrets, create signed URLs for private files, send email, and trigger push notifications. Functions are invoked from the front end via the SDK and can be wired into workflows as steps.

Realtime. Subscribe to an entity to receive create, update, and delete events live, which powers shared registers and collaborative boards.

const unsub = base44.entities.Notification.subscribe((event) => {
  // event: { id, type: 'create' | 'update' | 'delete', data }
});

Integrations

Connect Auliq to the tools your organization already uses

Auliq supports OAuth-based connectors for services such as Google Calendar, Google Sheets, Gmail, Google Drive, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Notion, Salesforce, HubSpot, QuickBooks, Square, and many more. Connectors run in two modes: shared (one account connected for all users, acting on behalf of the organization) or per-user (each app user connects their own account).

Connector events can drive automations: authorize a connector, then create a workflow with a connector trigger to route webhooks — a new calendar event, a Slack message, a sheet update — into Auliq logic, such as creating tasks or sending notifications.

No connector for your service?

Any REST API can be integrated with a backend function that stores the service's credentials as an app secret. Secrets are never exposed to the front end.

Troubleshooting

Common issues and how to resolve them

I don't see my data in a module

Check the project selector in the header first — most pages filter to the selected project. If the issue persists, confirm the record's organization matches yours; records created before you joined your organization are not visible.

I didn't receive the verification or reset code

Use the resend option on the verification screen, and check your spam folder. Reset links expire; request a new one from Forgot password if the link is older than a few hours.

A file upload failed or won't preview

Private files require an authenticated session to view; public files are viewable by anyone with the link. Large files should be uploaded as attachments rather than pasted into text fields. Re-upload if the file is over the per-file size limit.

Approval notifications are missing

Verify your per-category notification preferences under Platform → Notifications, and confirm the record's assignee/reviewer field holds an email address that belongs to a registered user.

FAQ

Answers to the questions we hear most

Do I have to buy the whole suite?

No. Applications are installed individually from the store. Modules share authentication, organizations, and the project context, so a partial rollout works cleanly.

Can multiple organizations share one login?

Yes. A user can belong to multiple organizations and switch between them; data is isolated per organization.

Is my data secure?

Data is scoped by organization with row-level access rules enforced server-side, sessions are token-based, and private files are served through expiring signed URLs only.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Every register supports export, and the REST API exposes your complete data model for bulk extraction.
